Benefits of Clearing
Your Land
When
you remove Cedar
probably the biggest benefit is the improvement in water. Mature
Cedar trees each transpire between thirty and fifty gallons of water
per day. This water is simply gone, into the air. This lost water
doesn’t help your desirable hardwoods grow and thrive. It doesn’t
grow grasses and wildflowers. It’s just gone.
Cedar trees are also effective at
preventing rainwater from ever reaching the ground. It is said that
between one quarter and one half an inch of rain must fall before
any rain reaches the ground.
This makes light rain about as
useful as no rain at all.
The other benefits you get from
clearing your land are to gain access to the land, to improve its
beauty and to increase its value. Dense Cedar or brush effectively
blocks your access to the land. You can’t farm it. You can’t hunt it.
You can’t build on it. You can’t even really look at it. When you
look out at Cedar or brush or dead oaks your view is blocked and
what you see is probably ugly. By clearing the land you expand your
horizons and get to look at attractive hardwood trees and the
grasses and wildflowers that will thrive when they get a chance.
You’ll increase the value of your property be enhancing its “curb
appeal” and letting others see the land you actually have.
Benefits of Choosing
R Cedar to Clear Your Land
R Cedar is in the land clearing
business. Cedar clearing and land clearing are our entire business.
R Cedar was formed specifically to provide this service. It’s not a
side line. It’s not something we do when we don’t have enough other
work. Clearing land is what we do every day.
In short we’re professionals. We
have the right equipment. We bought it new and take good care of it.
We have the necessary skills. Our operators have lots of “heavy
equipment” experience, special training for land clearing and lots
of experience. We have the right attitude. Our job is to do the job
you want done in the fastest, most cost effective manner possible.
We do our very best to understand what you want to accomplish, to
describe the alternative ways it can be accomplished and to help you
choose the way that’s best for you. If we’re not confident we can
meet or exceed your expectations we’ll tell you right up front
because we want you to be completely satisfied and ready to tell
anyone who asks that R Cedar did a great job for you.
The land clearing methods we employ
are fast, cost effective and environmentally friendly. Our
preferences are 1) mulching in place or 2) snipping, stacking and
mulching the piles.
Mulching in place is a one-step
process that produces immediate results. Snipping and stacking
quickly clears the land but leaves piles of Cedar or brush to be
dealt with later.
Both of these methods leave the land
clear and ready for use. Beneficial and attractive hardwoods have
been revealed and liberated to regain strength and flourish. The
land has not been torn up by pushing over the trees. |
